Everything you want to know
Short answers to the most common questions about visiting, the equipment and the lounge.
Two pursuits, in balance.
The Play Zaal concept is built around attention and calm. Whether it's trying out a new board game or the quiet run of a hand at the poker table — craftsmanship and an understated club atmosphere come first with us.
A room built for play
Every group plays differently. Our room in the city centre has tables of various sizes, good light, space between seats and a well-stocked cabinet of board games. Our goal is for you to sit comfortably all evening and easily find the game that suits your group.

- How the Games Room works
- More than equipment: thoughtfully appointed tables.
- In the Play Zaal games room in Hobart, a level-headed view of equipment meets hands-on experience. We don't believe in one-size-fits-all. Table height, felt tension and light placement together decide whether an evening runs smoothly.
